Lonicera ciliosa Orange honeysuckle Family – Caprifoliacea Blooms late spring-early summer Perennial Grows 6-18 feet tall Found in west side facing forests; sea level to 5500 feet. Leaves are deciduous, opposite, green above, whiteish below egg-shaped to oval 1-4 inches long. Flowers are held in short, dense, whorled spiked beyond fused leaves at ends of stems. Petal coloration is orange trumpet shaped, with 5 lobes, stamens and stigma protruding. Small orange-red berries.
